This project is an exploration of my faith and what it means to carry a faith that I was raised in but follow it in a way that’s affirming for me. As a trans man, I carry a lot of religious trauma from how I was raised and the ideology enforced in me from childhood. As an "exvangelical", I still hold baptism as an important and sacred ritual and tradition. By using my bathtub and friends who do not share my faith, I am reclaiming what it means to be Christian, trans, and queer by making an important sacrament more accessible and close to home.
